About Me

My name is Chris, and I'm a nature and wildlife photographer based near Vancouver, BC in Tsawwassen (Delta). I'm very fortunate to live in this part of the world where I can be in a tidal mudflat photographing migratory birds in the morning, and be near the top of a mountain the same afternoon. My favourite subjects are Forests, mountains, raptors (Eagles, Owls, Hawks, etc) and shorebirds.

I've been immersed in photography off and on since the late 90's when I would shoot copious amounts of film. In the time since, I've used almost every brand of equipment. I am currently using Nikon's professional mirrorless cameras and lenses.

I invite you to take a look through my galleries, and if you have any questions, would like to order a print, or discuss licensing terms please feel free to reach out via my contact page.

All wildlife photos on this website were taken in the wild, no baiting, no calls, no zoos. I am an ethical wildlife photographer who does not disturb wildlife, cause stress, or habituate (bait) with food.

When it comes to nature and landscape photography my approach is similar, leave no trace, no location tagging, etc.
